Noot's privacy note
Last updated June 21, 2026
Hi. Noot is a tiny corner of the internet meant to make your day a little warmer, and we'd like to keep it that way with your information too. Here's the whole story, in plain words.
What we keep
- Your email, only if you log in. Logging in is optional. If you do, by magic link or Google, we store your email so we can sign you in and remember your points. That's it.
- A few anonymous counts. We tally things like "someone visited" or "someone tapped for a message" so we can tell whether Noot is reaching people. These counts are tied to a random tag your browser makes up, never to your name, and we don't store your IP address.
- The messages you share. When you send a message to a friend, we save that line so it's the first thing they see when they open your link.
- Your little profile. If you have an account, that's a made-up username, your points, and any messages you've kept as favorites.
What we never do
- We never sell your information, to anyone, ever.
- We never show ads.
- We never follow you around other websites.
- We use no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies.
Who helps us run Noot
A few trusted services do the quiet work behind the scenes: Supabase (accounts and storage), Resend (sending login emails), and Cloudflare (hosting). They only handle what's needed to make Noot work.
Your choices
You can log out anytime. If you'd ever like your account and everything tied to it deleted, just email us and we'll take care of it.
A couple of notes
Noot is made for a general audience and is available in the United States. If this note ever changes, we'll update it right here.
